Se celebrará una (1) Reunión Pre-Subasta compulsoria se llevará a cabo el jueves, 27 de agosto de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. para el RFP#1-A, a las 10:30 a.m. para el RFP#2-A, y para el RFP#5 a las 11:00 a.m. en el piso 6, Legislatura Municipal, Casa Alcaldía, Municipio de Cataño por lo que deberá asistir al menos un representante de la compañía licitadora interesada, para informarse de las especificaciones y condiciones requeridas. El “site inspection” será ese mismo día, la hora será notificada durante dicha reunión. A compulsory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for RFP#1-A and for RFP#2-A at 10:30 a.m., and for RFP#5 at 11:00a.m. on the 6th floor, Municipal Legislature, Cataño City Hall and a representative of the interested bidding company must attend to be informed about the required specifications and conditions. La Junta de Subastas se reserva el derecho de rechazar cualquier o todas las propuestas y adjudicar la buena pro, en las condiciones que mejor convenga a los intereses del Municipio Autónomo de Cataño. La adjudicación de la buena pro no obligará al Municipio de Cataño, iniciándose la relación contractual únicamente con el otorgamiento del contrato de la forma provista por ley, y sujeto a la emisión de la orden de proceder. El Municipio se reserva el derecho de cancelar la adjudicación de la buena pro o la solicitud de propuestas en protección de sus mejores intereses, en cuyo caso, el Municipio no incurrirá en responsabilidad de clase alguna. The Bid Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract under the terms that best serve the interests of the Autonomous Municipality of Cataño. An award will not bind the municipality, initiating the contractual relationship only with the granting of the contract in the manner provided by law, and subject to the issuance of the order to proceed is required. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the award or bid in benefit of its best interests, in which case, the Municipality will not incur liability of any kind. Please note that, before the Contract(s) is signed with the selected Proposer(s), the municipality will have to ensure that there is no legal or ethical impediment to entering into the Contract(s) with the Proposer. In addition, Proponents are cautioned that they will need to comply with all applicable local and federal laws, regulations and ordinances, including those established by the FEMA DR 4671 program and the Uniform Federal Code 2 CFR 200. La Oferta debe estar acompañada de una Fianza de Oferta pagadera al Municipio por la cantidad del cinco por ciento (5%) de la Oferta. La Fianza de Oferta puede ser presentada por el Licitante en forma de cheque bancario certificado o una Fianza de Oferta. Si se utiliza una Fianza de Oferta, debe ser emitida por una garantía que aparezca en la Lista de Fianzas Aprobadas más reciente del Departamento del Tesoro de los Estados Unidos (Carta Circular 570) y autorizada para operar en Puerto Rico. Las ofertas permanecerán sujetas a aceptación durante noventa (90) días después de la Fecha de Entrega de la Oferta. No obstante, el Municipio, a su discreción, puede liberar una Oferta y devolver la Fianza de Oferta relacionada antes de esa fecha. La Fianza de Oferta del Licitante ganador se conservará hasta que dicho Licitante haya presentado todos los documentos requeridos para la ejecución del contrato y dicho contrato haya sido debidamente ejecutado por el Licitante y el Municipio. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Municipality in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The Bid Bond may be presented by the Bidder in the form of a certified bank check or a Bid Bond. If a Bid Bond is used, it must be issued by a surety appearing in the latest US Department of Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties (Circular Letter 570) and authorized to do business in Puerto Rico. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for ninety (90) days after the Bid Due Date. Nonetheless, the Municipality, at its discretion, may release a Bid and return the related Bid Bond prior to that date. The Bid Bond of the successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has submitted all documents required for execution of the contract and such contract has been duly executed by the Bidder and the Municipality.
